Learn French at a level matched to your ability with native French teachers. My pronunciation and grammar really switched up a level in A1 French taught to our class by Nina. I attended twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday for ten weeks before going to Bordeaux. The textbook and online resources really help with revision. A great way to improve French, learn it for the first time and meet people.

I highly recommend studying at the Alliance Française de Sydney. I’ve been studying with them for many months & am loving it. The classes are a good size, with excellent teachers. The classes are interactive and challenging without being intimidating. The staff in general are friendly & approachable & committed to ensuring you have a great experience. Lots of different ways to learn french & loads of interesting things to get involved in if you have a broader interest in France. Great library & terrific facilities make for an excellent learning environment.

I really like the cafe here, which offers great coffee, and a very nice selection of fresh pastries and French type light foods and snacks. At times it can be busy and noisy, while other times mid morning it can be quiet and relaxing. Classes take place on the upper levels of the building.

I recently completed A1.1 and have now started A1.2. The teaching staff are superb -- speaking the right mix of French and English, great prepared materials, really good use of the smart whiteboard, and fun interactive exercises. I have made great progress in a short space of time. This is an excellent method and excellent school to learn French. Highly recommended!

Since January, my experience at Alliance Française de Sydney has been absolutely delightful! I am thoroughly impressed by the high quality of the courses, and I feel genuinely welcomed every time I walk through the door. I started learning French here since January this year. It is not cheap, but I think it is good value. Teachers are all native French people. I started from a1.1 and I am now in a2.1. My French is still very basic but I think I learned a lot in the past 18 weeks. My French teacher is Manon. She is very young and she is awesome. Always full 2 hours class with no breaks. I totally enjoy every class. I never feel bored or sleepy in her class. Just want to say, Manon, merci beaucoup!! You are an excellent French teacher!!
